Anyone can take the course, but to receive the CSLP Certification, you must have an active and approved financial license.  This includes CFP, ChFC, CPA, Registered Investment Advisor (must be active), AFC, and a state insurance license. 

All licenses must be submitted each year at renewal time for verification.
